12 Bedroom Cleaning Tips

It is essential to have a clean and tidy bedroom in order to have a good night’s sleep and preserve general health. So, in this post, we are going to provide you with 12 bedroom cleaning tips that will help you have a clean and tidy bedroom.

Bedroom Cleaning Tips

Knowing useful bedroom cleaning tips will assist you in keeping your room tidy and comfortable, ensuring that you can always sleep soundly and feel generally refreshed. These bedroom cleaning tips are different from the general bedroom cleaning tips like making your bed first thing in the morning and the like, so try to follow them and you will see the results in no time.

1. Always dust the entire room from top to bottom.

It can be a good idea to start dusting at the top and work your way down. You’ll be able to work more quickly and avoid having to clean the same spot twice.

2. Don’t forget the light switches.

Spray the detergent on a washcloth, not the switches, whenever you clean the light switches. You may also take a Q-tip and poke it into the cracks and crevices for an even more extensive cleaning routine.

3. Clean the ceiling fan efficiently.

Put a worn-out pillowcase over every blade with a stepladder, and then pull it back. The dirt and dust will be caught in the pillowcase.

4. To clean your blinds, use tongs.

Cover the tongs with a microfiber towel and bind them using a rubber band. Well, you’ve successfully created your unique blind cleaner and you can use it to clean your blinds.

5. Clean wooden furniture using beer.

Using a cup of beer, restore the gloss of the woodwork. Just wipe the beer with a rag and then dry it off with another cloth. That’s all there is to it.

6. Using a broom, sweep the spider webs away.

Clean all spider webs from the crevices of the ceiling with a broom.

7. Use soda and cornstarch to make a carpet deodorizer.

Spray your rug with a mixture of baking soda, cornstarch, and your preferred fragrance. Allow it to dry naturally, then clean the rug after a few hours. It will facilitate the removal of the rug’s previous odors.

8. Clean and deodorize your mattresses.

Scatter baking soda on your mattress and leave it to rest for a few hours to deodorize. Now, using your vacuum cleaner, clean up any remaining powder.

Use a mixture of baking soda, bleach, and dish soap to remove blood stains. Rub the solution on the area, then wash it with lukewarm water to remove it, being careful not to wet the mattress itself.

9. Adopt the two-year clothing rule.

The two-year rule states that if you have not worn a piece of clothing during the last two years and it has no personal significance, it must be discarded or donated.

10. Clean hair styling tools with rubbing alcohol.

Apply a small portion of rubbing alcohol to a soft cloth, rub it gently on the tool’s surface, then clean it with a moist rag to remove hair styling chemicals residue from hair styling tools. Please ensure all tools are disconnected and thoroughly cooled before cleaning them.

11. Don’t forget to clean up the vents.

Remove the lids and place them in the dishwasher. Vacuuming the inside of the vents on a regular basis should be one of your weekly bedroom cleaning chores. These areas are covered in animal hair, filth, and debris, which flies back into the bedroom and accumulates.

12. Clean up your workspace in the bedroom.

If you have considered a working desk or any other type of workspace in your bedroom, keep just about all the things associated with it orderly and confined to their own space.
